Sorghum is the fifth most important cereal worldwide, spreading from Africa throughout the world. It is particularly important in the semi-arid tropics due to its drought tolerance, and when cultivated in Southeast Asia commonly occurs as a second crop during the dry season. simulation study, a linking method using concurrent calibration in common-item and non-equivalent group design worked reasonably well in defining a consistent metric compared to non-linking separate calibration, as demonstrated by ICC recovery and adequate separation of group proficiencies in a vertical scaling context, which performs linking metrics of two groups with different proficiency levels. The limitations of this research and further study suggestions are discussed in the last section. -

more emotional engagement with the writer; the other pair, the introverted judgers, preferred the counter-argument, and were highly goal-oriented and time conscious, scoring more objectively and efficiently with more foci on task completion and the quantitative aspects of writing. The raters also demonstrated variations within the pair group. The study suggests raters’personality traits can be a source of rater variation, which influences scoring validity and reliability of writing assessment.
