For a more comprehensive understanding of the aforementioned relationships, this study analyzes the possible moderating role of body-esteem in predicting social comparison’s influence on the perceptions of diet advertising. The results of this study showed that people’s body-esteem level not only influences their attitude toward diet advertising, but also moderates the relationship between the attitude toward diet advertising and individuals’ social comparison orientation. -

Carbon micro particles with dimple patterns were produced by electro-spraying a solution of pitch in tetrahydrofuran. Particle formation depended on separation in an electrical field and volatilization of the solvent. More than 80% of the obtained carbon exhibited an average particle size of less than 50 μm. X-ray diffraction analysis suggests that the carbon with dimple patterns has increased crystallinity after heat treatment. -
