본 논문에서는 Blaise Pascal의『공기 덩어리의 무게에 관한 논문집』에 제시된 내용을 기반으로 초등과학영재 교육을 위한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램 구성을 위한 학습모델은 Joseph Renzulli의 삼형심화학습모델(Enrichment Triad Model)을 사용하였다. 파스칼 책의 2장 1부, 2장 2부, 그리고 3~6장의 내용을 기반으로 각각 삼형심화학습모델의 제1형 심화(일반적인 탐색활동), 제2형 심화(집단 훈련 활동), 제3형 심화(실제 문제에 관한 개인 또는 소집단 탐구)를 구성하였다. -
