The anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties of artemisinin derived from water, methanol, ethanol, or acetone extracts of Artemisia annua L. were evaluated. All 4 artemisinin- containing extracts had anti-inflammatory effects. 단일 혹은 다수의 치아가 상실된 증례에서 기능성, 심미성, 경조직과 연조직의 형태, 발음, 구강내 건강 등을 회복하기 위해서 보철 수복 치료가 요구된다. 보철치료를 대체할 수 있는 치료 방법으로 임프란트 치료가 새로이 대두되었다. 지난 30년 동안 1차와 2차 수술 과정을 거치는 통상적인 임프란트 수복에 대한 적절성이 평가되었고, 근년에 이르 러서는 통상의 2회 수술법에서 더 나아가 치료 기간의 단축에 대한 욕구가 매우 강해졌다. -
