The Effect of Global Media Consumption on Chinese Consumers’ Response to Foreign Models and Languages in Advertising : An Examination of the Moderated Mediation of Global Mindset

to Chinese consumers’ attitudes toward global signs (i.e., foreign models and foreign languages) in advertising. Findings confirm the mediating effect of global mindset, suggesting that global media consumption indirectly influences attitudes toward foreign models and foreign languages by affecting global mindset. Data further reveals the moderated mediation of global mindset by consumer ethnocentrism－as consumer ethnocentrism increased, the mediating effect of global mindset became stronger. -

in North Carolina and Texas. The article describes and compares the teacher candidates’ (n=136) perceptions of the global citizenship curricula. The study found that after participating in the global citizenship curricula participants: (1) made conceptual leaps in their global citizenship definitions; (2) developed a stronger commitment for their future role as educators in developing global citizens; and (3) were more willing to take action for social justice related issues in education. -

This study examines whether there is a significant AIDS stigma gap among Korean people, and reveals causes and consequences of this perceptual gap. An analysis of the survey data collected to evaluate the impact of 2011 AIDS campaign in Korea revealed a perceptual gap between personal stigma and attributed stigma.
