본 연구에서는 수치지도를 이용하여 실세계 지도좌표를 포함한 3차원 지형 기본맵을 구축하였다. 그리고 높이값을 가진 건물과 3차원 지형 기본맵을 통합하여 Cyber City를 구축하였다. 여기에 Server/Client 시스템을 이용하여 3차원 Cyber City 웹서비스 실시하였다. 기존의 이미지 또는 벡터 기반의 웹서비스방식보다 벡터와 이미지의 합성인 하이브리드(Hybrid)방식으로의 개선을 제안하였고, 공간검색 속성검색 기능을 제공함으로써 기존의 Web 3D 기술의 단순한 가시화의 한계를 넘어 Web 3D GIS로의 발전방향을 제시하였다. -
