본 연구는 청동기시대 전주 여의동, 익산 다송리, 대전 괴정동의 거친무늬거울을 모델로 활석 거푸집을 복원제작한 뒤, 그 거푸집에 청동거울 주조 실험을 진행하여 그 결과를 정리?분석한 것 이다. 거푸집 제작에는 청동기시대 거푸집에 많이 사용된 활석을 이용하였으며, 특히 당시에 사용 되었을 것으로 추정되는 전남 영암 출토 석제거푸집에 새겨진 끌, 도끼, 송곳 등을 모델로 연모를 제작하여 활석 거푸집 제작과 주조된 청동거울의 가공에 사용하였다. 거푸집을 제작할 때 활석의 석질이 좋고 표면이 매끄러운 것은 문양...

The Korean collection at the V &A is probably better known for its Koryo celadons and Choson ceramics than for its late 20th century artifacts.
