Neuroblastoma is predominantly a malignant tumor of young children, the roentgenologic examination is an important clinical tool in the study of patient. During 6 years from January. 1972 to February, 1978, clinical and radiological findings of 21 cases of proven neuroblastoma at Seoul National University Hospital are analysed. The result are as follows: 1. The mean age is 4.5 years and the relation of male was 2.5 : 1. 2. Main symptoms are palpable abdominal mass, 14 cases (66%) hepatomegaly 13 cases (62%), bone pain and lymphnode enlargement, each 10 cases 9 cases (43%) of fever. 3. 19 cases have their origin in the adrenal and 3 cases in retroperitoneum. Tumor calcification is fine dense stippled appearance and demonstrated in 5 cases (24%). 4. Kidney function is normal except 1 case of nonvisualization. 5. Proximal ureters are displaced laterally in 12 cases (57%) suggesting frequent retroperitoneal lymphnode metastasis. 6. Evidence of bone metastasis is demonstrated in 13 cases (62%). Striking feature of the skeletal lesions was their tendency toward a bilaterally and symmetrical distribution.
