Throughout the known various tests for each thyroid states, there is no complete informative method for evaluating thyroid function. In an attempt to evaluating the thyroidal & hepatic gross dynamic and relationship of them, the author had made an observation on 20 minutes uptake curve of oral lodine-131 by the thyroid gland and liver in addition to several usual tyroid evaluating tests following administration of $50{mu}Ci$ lodine-131 in 37 cases of euthyriodism, 30 cases of hyperthyroidism, and 5 cases of hypothyroidism. The results obtained are summerized as follows : 1. The early uptake curve of thyrogram obtained immediately after giving an oral dose of lodine-131 revealed relatively steep elevation in hyperthyroidism and less steep or stable elevation in hypothyroidism. The mean inclination of uptake curves was $23.3{pm}8.7^{circ}$ ineuthyroidism, $51.6{pm}14.3^{circ}$ in hyperthyroidism, $9.3{pm}3.9^{circ}$ inhypothyroidism. The inclination of this increasing uptake curve reflected well the functiona status in thyroid gland. 2. on the relationship between obtained thyrogram and gepatogram of inclination o& declination, the tyrogram is described exponential curve of gradual inclination followed by gradual declination curve of hepatogram. Rapid inclination curve is noticed inhyperthyroidism , while delayed inclination in hypothyroidism . 3. Gastrointestinal motility study of barium meal , is shown increased motility in hyperthyroidism and decreased motility in hypothyroidism. The functional relationhip between thryoidal & hepatic uptake rate and gastrointestestinal motility must be evaluated by further study.
