The spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia are chondrodystrophies with selective and combined involvement of vertebrae and long bone epiphyses and metaphyses. It is rare familial disease and transimitted autosomal dominant except X-linked recessive in SED tarda form. The SED is classified by roentgenograhic and clinical evaluaton. Three principle groups are distinguished : Epiphyseal Dysplasia, Epiphyseal Dysplasia with Platyspondly , and Epiphyseal Metaphyseal Dysplasia. Authors present 3 cases of epiphyseal metaphyseal dysplasia without spine involvement which developed in one family. Roentgenogram reverals characteristic bilateral symmetric epiphyseal and metaphseal irregularity, micromelic drawfism, short and thickdiaphyses, and stubby hands and feet.
