CT has been known to be as useful tool as exophthalmometry in measuring the degree of proptosis. Authors measured the degree of proptosis in 38 eyes of 19 normal Korean adult volunteers with CT and keeler exophthalomometry and calculated mean values and clarified their linear correlationship. The vertical distance from interzygomatic line to cornea on CT was between 14 and 16.8mm with their mean values of 15.6$pm$0.92. Correlation test between these two methods showed positive correlationship (p=0/05) and their coefficient value was 0.41. Therefore it is proved that CT has no statistical difference on measuring the degree of proptosis as compared with exophthalmometry.
