미국흰불나방 (Hyphantria cunea Drury)의 주요 난황단백질 (YP1, YP2)을 분리 정제하여 그들의 물리화학적 성질과 합성 장소를 규명하였다. 1, YP1과 YP2는 각각 2개의 구성소단위와 하나의 구성소단위로 구성되었다. 2. 용 10일 자성 지방체에서 YP1과 YP2의 구성소단위가 확인 되었다. 3. 조직배양후 fluorography한 결과 YP1과 YP2는 지방체에서 합성되었다. 4. YP1에 결합된 Carbohydrates는 mannose, $alpha$-glucose 그리고 $eta$-glucose가 뚜렷하였으며 YP2는 소량의 mannose와 $eta$-glucose가 검출되었다.
Major yolk proteins (YP1 and YP2) of Hyphantria cunea were purified to determine their physicochemical property and synthetic site. 1. YP1 and YP2 are composed of two and one subunits respectively. 2. Subunits of YP1 and YP2 were confirmed from fat body of 10 day old female pupae. 3. Synthesis of YP1 and YP2 were confirmed in fat body by tissue culture and fluorography 4. YP1 contains significant amout of mannose, ${alpha}$-glucose. and ${eta}$-glucose whil YP2 has small amount of mannose and ${eta}$-glucose.
