솔나방 난모세포의 성숙에 따른 영양세포의 유전자 전사를 투과전자현미경으로 관찰하였다. 길이가 0.2mm인 여포의 영양세포 핵에서는 0.4$mu extrm{m}$, 0.8$mu extrm{m}$ 1$mu extrm{m}$ 등 3종류의 RNA가 전사되었으며, 길이가 0.5mm인 여포의 영양세포 핵에서는 0.2$mu extrm{m}$, 0.3$mu extrm{m}$, 0.56$mu extrm{m}$, 0.62$mu extrm{m}$, 0.8$mu extrm{m}$, 2.7$mu extrm{m}$ 등 6종류의 RNA가 매우 활발하게 전사됨이 관찰되었다.

This study has been carried out to prove gene activities of nurse cells in the maturing eggs from Dendrolimus spectabilis. The nurse cell in the follicle of 0.2 mm in length was found to transcribe three types of transcriptional units in size; 0.4, 0.8 and 1 ${mu}{ extrm}{m}$, while in the follicle of 0.5 mm the nurse cell shown to transcribe six types of RNA in size; 0.2, 0.3, 0.56, 0.62, 0.8 and 2.7 ${mu}{ extrm}{m}$.
