Pecutaneous abdominal abscess drainage was performed in 24 patients under guidance of ultrasound or CT during recent two years. The sites of abscess were in intraperitoneum(N=9), liver(N=7), kidney(N=3) and etc. Successful drainage was obtained in 21 cases(88%). Two of three unsuccessful patients developed peritonitis and sepsis as a complication. Percutaneous abscess drainage is and effective an safe method of treatment in patient with abdominal abscess.
