본 논문은 일본산 잎벌레과 유충 분류에 관한 연구의 일부로서, 벼룩잎벌레아과의 2속에 속하는 검정다리벼룩잎벌레 Altica caerulescens (Baly), 어깨벼룩잎벌레 A. cirsicola Ohno, 두점알벼룩잎벌레 Argopistes biplagiatus Motschulsky 및 큰알벼룩잎벌레 A. coccinelliformis Csiki를 다루었으며, 이들 유충은 일본에서 처음 기재된다. 특히 Argopistes 속의 유충은 잠엽성이며 이들에 관한 기타 생태학적 관찰도 추가되었다.
The present paper is a part of the study on the larvae of leaf beetles in Japan. It is the first time to describe and to illustrate the larvae of four Japanese species belonging to two genera in the subfamily Alticinae; Altica caerulescens (Baly), A. cirsicola Ohno, Argopistes biplagiatus Motschulsky, and A. coccinelliformis Csiki. Out of them, the Argopistes larvae are leaf-miners. Also given are biological notes as well as taxonomic remarks.
