Development of Anisopteromalus calandrae (Howard) parasitizing larvae of Sitophilus oryzae (L.), was studied at six constant temperature. Development of the parasitoid at 18$^{circ}C$ was inhibited. As the temperature increased from 18 to 34$^{circ}C$, total developmental period of the female and male parasitoids decreased from 63.5 to 10.3 days and from 72.0 to 9.9 days, respectively. The lower and upper threshold temperature for complete development of female and male were estimated to be 15.5 and 38.2$^{circ}C$, and 15.5 and 38.$0^{circ}C$, respectively. Temperature ranges of 17.7~36.2$^{circ}C$ and 17.1~36.4$^{circ}C$ were required for the normal development of female and male, respectively. Possible interspecific competition between a. calandrae and another ectoparasitoid pteromalid, Lariophagus distinguendus (Forster), was suggested.
