Reponding to the need for software quality , manifested by intense and global competition, major software vendor firms have recently applied many quality -oriented techniques to software devleopment. To address the quality issues of information systems, a few research work attempted to apply total quality management (TQM) concepts to information systems developement. Others have utilized quality function deployment (QFD) as a mechanism for accuratedly solicitig customer requirements, This paper examines the quality issues of information systems and prescribes measn to improve the quality of multimedia systems.
