Therefore, orthodontic laboratory technicians should be well acquainted with the sequential fabrication procedures involved in the construction of Frankel functional regulators and construct a type most suitable for a specific patient of malocclusion. There are various types of Frankel appliances. Detailed construction procedures of FR II are described here below, which can also be applied for other types for FR appliances.
