Genus Neolimothrips with a single species N. binervis has been collected, identified and described for the first time from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan. Redescription and illustration of the key characters of the species are provided. The genus and the only collected species can easily be identified and separated on the basis of head protruding in front of eyes and antennal segments 3-4 with simple sense cones.
