The sensor network transferring the information through single-path routing has the problem that the malicious sniffing attack due to eavesdropping of the valid information. In this paper, we propose the multiple path secure routing protocol for the grid sensor network that reduces the risk of information leakage by transferring packets with the partitioned data of the valid information through the multiple path routing against the malicious sniffing attacks. Sending the partitioned data over the distributed multiple paths significantly reduces the risk of the valid information disclosure by the sniffing attack. The security against the sniffing attack and the energy efficiency of the proposed multiple path secure routing protocol are shown as the results of the simulations compared with the transferring through the single path routing using the NS-2(Network Simulator 2).
