이 연구는 시각장애 특수학교에 근무하는 스포츠강사들이 겪는 어려움을 알아보고 그 의미를 분석하여 시각장애 특수학교에서 근무하게 될 스포츠강사의 학교 적응과 원활한 체육수업이 가능할 수 있도록 실 질적 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 전국 시각장애 특수학교에 근무하는 스포츠강사 8명을 대 상으로 심층면담을 실시하였으며, 귀납적 분석 방법을 통하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 시각장애 특 수학교 스포츠 강사들은 정체성과 관련하여 내재적 갈등과 외현적 갈등을 겪고 있었다. 둘째, 시각장애 특수학교 스포츠 강사들은 주변 환경과 관련하여 열악한 물리적 환경과 사회적 환경의 괴리감을 겪고 있 었다. 셋째, 시각장애 특수학교 스포츠 강사들은 교수ㆍ학습 과정에서 수업준비 스트레스, 수업과정 스트 레스, 수업 후 스트레스를 겪고 있었다. 넷째, 시각장애 특수학교 스포츠 강사들은 직업인으로서 경제적 갈등과 제도적 갈등을 겪고 있었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 특수학교에 근무하고 있는 스포츠 강사들에 대한 효과적인 지원 방안에 대하여 후속 연구를 제안하였다.
This study offered substantial data for sports instructors working at the blind school to teach P.E and fit themselves into school. They found difficulties with the sports instructors and analyzed them. This study aimed to examine the difficulty of sports instructors with in-depth interviews. Eight people instructors working at the blind school participated in this study. The result of this study is as follows. Firstly, sports instructors working at the blind school had an inherent, extrinsic conflict which related to identity. Secondly, sports instructors working at the blind school went through the gap between physical environment and social environment. Thirdly, sports instructors working at the blind school were under pressure to prepare and teach P.E in the teaching and learning process. Fourthly, sports instructors suffered from economic conflict and institutional conflict as an expert in sports. This result gave us various difficulties of sports instructors working at the blind school. In addition, it is necessary for sports instructors to offer a variety of customized training, institutional support.
