Regarding to generally high interest in health, these days, we conducted this experiment to compare static
posture that base of movement, through the Pilates exercise program to improve spine scoliosis. In this study, two participants,
one male and one female performed Pilates exercises for a six weeks period. Both participants undressed to their
undergarments and were assessed for head tilt, difference in shoulder height, length of both scapula and spine, rotation
degree of pelivis, and leg length from navel to medial malleus. Participants placed their arms forwarded and trunk about
90 degrees forward, while the inspector assessed asymmetrical ratio of left and right such as equal height back and waist
with inspector’s eye. Then photographed X-ray faced posterior side and included total length of spine. In order to measure
the curve on X-ray, Cobb’s program is used. A line is drawn, at the slanted spine towards the end of the concave curve of
the lower end of curve at the bottom of spine, and then at curve line, is drawn as a right angle and we got crossed angle, it
is to curve size. This study examined a change of inferior angle, trunk flexion, leg length and spinal scoliosis curve degree.
As a result, case 1 appeared significantly increase, case 2 appeared change of inferior angle and scoliosis curve. Pilates exercise
affected Cobb’s curve angle, except or other tests except. It is necessory to study through long term about Pilates exercises
and static posture for scoliosis patients. It is to considerated that necessity for analysis included variable objects.
