The purpose of this study is to investigate various types of emotional language used by students of university and make an language factor in expressive movement. And how to use towards emotion language in basic dance movement and Laban movement effort. For the purpose, this researcher carried out an open-ended questionnaire survey of 141 students of university in Daegu. Items of the latter questionnaire were processed through reliability and repetitive factor analyses, out of which final 22 were drawn out to be considered sub-areas of emotional language. The final items were then processed through statistical, reliability and exploratory factor analyses. Results of the study can be summarized as follows.
1. Sub-areas of emotional language contained total 22 expression items.
2. The explorative factor analysis of emotional language showed that the following expression items could be made for each sub-area of the language.
'delight', funny, interesting, exciting, joyful, feel good,
'shame', shy, hang one's head for shame, be sold at jjock, ambarrased, shame,
'sorrow', afraid, nearly had a heart attack, terrify, crying and sorrowful,
'anger, get riled up(ppak chinda), angry, peed off, depressed,
'surprise', novelty, I'll be jiggered.
3. Basic dance movement and effort items could be made for each sub-area of the movement.
'delight', running, flying, shaking, beating, light, free flow.
'shame', crawling, twisting, band, low/midium level, indirection, light, bound flow.
'sorrow', walking, ctawling, sustain, strong, bound flow.
'anger', push, slash, sudden, hight level, light.
'surprise', turnning, sudden, hight level, light.
