The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between self-determination and creative
personality of students with hearing impairment. The subjects of this study consist of 229, 4th grade or
older students with hearing impairment. The results of this study were presented as follows: (a) boys have
higher amotivation, control of outside, and curiosity than girls; and (b) there are so strong relationship
between self-determination and creative personality of students with hearing impairment. The self-confidence
of creative personality could be explained by variables of self-determination and creative personality. The
amount of entire explanation was R²=.54.
