이 연구는 청각장애학생을 대상으로 자기결정성 동기와 창의적 인성 간의 관계 연구를 위해 수행되 었다. 연구 참여 대상은 전국에 있는 청각장애학생으로 모두 229명이 선정되었다. 연구 도구는 청각 장애학생을 위한 자기결정성 동기와 창의적 인성 척도로 선행연구를 활용하였으며 신뢰도에 대한 검정 절차를 거쳤다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기결정성이 매우 적은 외적조절은 남학생이 높게 나타났으며 높은 자기결정성이 필요한 내재적 동기에서는 여학생이 높게 나타났다. 창의적 인성 요인 중 도전/상상은 남학생이 여학생보다 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 둘째, 자기결정성 동기와 창의적 인성 간에는 매우 높은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 무동기와 외적조절 요 인을 낮추거나 제거할 수 있는 흥미와 관심 위주의 환경변화와 자기조절 능력을 증진시킬 수 있는 교수-학습 방법을 구안하고 적용하는 것이 무엇보다 중요함을 알 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between self-determination and creative personality of students with hearing impairment. The subjects of this study consist of 229, 4th grade or older students with hearing impairment. The results of this study were presented as follows: (a) boys have higher amotivation, control of outside, and curiosity than girls; and (b) there are so strong relationship between self-determination and creative personality of students with hearing impairment. The self-confidence of creative personality could be explained by variables of self-determination and creative personality. The amount of entire explanation was R²=.54.
