이 연구는 국내 연구를 중심으로 시각장애 학교 체육 관련 연구 동향을 알아봄으로써 향후 활발한 연구 활동을 수행하기 위한 기초자료를 수집, 제공하는데 그 목적이 있었다. 이에 이 연구에서는 1990년대부터 국내 학술지에 게재된 38편의 시각장애 학교 체육 관련 연구물들을 수집․분석하여 연구의 동향을 고찰하고 향후 시각장애 학교 체육의 발전을 위한 연구 과제와 방안을 알아보고자 하였다. 분석 결과 학술지 및 연도별 동향은 ｢시각장애연구｣, ｢특수교육저널: 이론과 실천｣, ｢한국특수체육학회지｣, ｢한국사회체육학회지｣ 등 주요 4개의 학술지에 68.4%가 발표되었고, 2006년 이후 발표된 연구물수가 증가하였다. 연구 주제에서는 행동측정 및 평가와 관련된 연구가 가장 많이 수행되었고, 연구 상황에서는 체육 수업 및 신체적 기능분석과 관련된 연구가 가장 많이 수행되었다. 연구 방법에서는 양적 연구 방법을 가장 많이 사용하였으며, 연구 대상에서는 중, 고등학생을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많이 수행되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 시각장애 학교 체육과 관련한 향후 과제를 제시하였고, 시각장애 학교 체육 연구의 방향성을 파악하는데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
This study is for collecting and providing basic data to conduct animated study hereafter by inquiring about the recent trends of study related to school’s physical education for the blind focused on Korean domestic study. In this study, the results of 38 studies about school’s physical education for the blind which had been posted in domestic scientific journal since the 1990s were collected and analysed, and it was intended to considerate study trends and find out research task and plan for the development of school’s physical education for the blind from now on. Following the analysis result, scientific journal and annual trends were released in the 4 major scientific journal such as ｢The Korean Journal of Visual Impairment｣, ｢Journal of Special Education : Theory and Practice｣, ｢Journal of Adapted Physical Activity & Exercise｣, ｢Journal of Sport and Leisure Studies｣, at the rate of 68.4%, and the number of studies published since 2006 had increased. Studies for behavior measuring and assessment were conducted in research subject the most, and studies for P.E. class and physical function analysis were conducted in research situation the most. The most frequently used research method was quantitative research and the most frequently used research object was middle and high school students in these studies. Based on the result, henceforth task related to school’s physical education for the blind was suggested, it will be used as basic data for comprehending the research direction of school’s physical education for the blind.
