본 연구자는 2008년 이래로 초등학생의 이야기 능력 발달을 종단 연구의 형태로 수행해 왔다(유 동엽, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016). 본 논문은 이러한 연구자의 연구 경험과 선행 연구 를 토대로 이야기 능력의 발달을 수집하고 분석하는 구체적인 방법과 절차를 고찰함으로써 이야기 능력과 이야기 능력 발달을 연구할 후속 연구에 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 논문 은 이야기 능력의 발달을 연구하는 방법론 중에서 연구 논리보다는 연구 기법에 초점을 맞추고 있 다. 2장에서는 이야기 자료의 수집 방법에 관한 논의 사항을 세심히 고찰하고, 이야기 자료 백업의 중요성을 강조하였다. 3장에서는 이야기 자료를 분석하는 절차를 9단계로 나누어 단계별로 상세히 고찰하였다. 4장에서는 이야기 자료를 컴퓨터에 코딩하고 분석하는 방법을 37개 범주로 나누어 상 세히 고찰하였다. 본 논문이 이야기 능력의 발달을 탐구하는 후속 연구의 튼튼한 디딤돌이 될 수 있기를 희망한다.
This study aims to examine the analysis method(inter alia, research technique) of story telling ability development, and to draw implications for further researches. For this end, it reviews the analysis method of story telling ability development into three Issues. 1) On the collecting method of story data; this study discusses the issues of story data collecting method, and emphasizes the importance of story data backup. 2) On the analysis procedure of story data; this study discusses the 9-stage procedures for story analysis. 3) On the coding method of story data; this study discusses the 37 coding categories of story data, and details of coding techniques.
