본 연구는 발달장애인의 가족기능에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고 주간보호 서비스와 활동지원서비스의 영향 정도를 파악하여 이를 바탕으로 한 실천적, 정 책적 개입 방안을 모색하기 위해 이뤄졌다. 이를 위해 경기도에 거주하고 있으며 주간보호 및 활동지원서비스를 이용하고 있는 발달장애인 주 양육자 116명을 대 상으로 설문조사를 실시했다. 주된 분석방법은 기술통계분석과 위계적 회귀분석 이었다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 발달장애인의 학력수준이 높을수록, 주 양육자가 여성 일수록, 연령이 낮을수록, 학력수준이 높을수록, 발달장애인 가족의 월평균 소득 수준이 높을수록, 발달장애인에 대한 돌봄기간이 길수록 가족응집성이 높은 것으 로 나타났다. 둘째, 발달장애인의 연령이 높을수록, 학력 수준이 높을수록, 장애 원인이 후천적인 것일수록, 기본적 일상수행능력 수준이 높을수록, 주 양육자의 성별이 여성일수록, 연령이 낮을수록, 학력이 높을수록 가족적응성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 주간보호서비스와 활동지원서비스에 대한 만족도 수준이 높을수록 가족응집성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 주간보호서비스 이용기간이 길고, 만족도가 높으며, 활동지원서비스에 대 한 만족도가 높을 때 가족적응성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 정책적, 실천적 제언을 하였다.
This study aims at exploring the effects of day-care service and personal assistance service on the family function of the persons with developmental disability and finding out the practical and policy intervention. Total 161 samples were used for analysis who are the residents of the Gyeonggi Province whose children using those two services. The analysis methods were descriptive analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The main research findings as follows. Firstly, the factors affecting the family cohesion are the education level of the person with developmental disability, sex and education level of the main carer, monthly income, and duration of the care. Secondly, the factors affecting the family adaptability are the age, education level, cause of disability and ADL level of the persons with developmental disability and sex, age and education level of the main carer. Thirdly, the satisfaction level of the day-care and personal assistance service was the positive effecting factors on the family cohesion. Fourthly, the duration of the use and the satisfaction level of the day-care service and personal assistance service were the positive effecting factors on the family adaptability. Based on the research findings, a number of practical and policy suggestion were made in order to improve the family function of persons with developmental disability.
