본 연구 목적은 생태그림책의 효용가치를 살펴보고자 한다. 현대사회는 불안과 우울, 자살과 폭력, 범 죄 등 여러 사회병리들로 어려움을 겪고 있고 물질문명의 폐해는 인간성 상실과 생태환경오염 등의 병리 를 초래하고 있다. 특히 물질문명의 급속한 발전은 생태계 파괴뿐만 아니라 현대인들의 정신병리의 원인 이 되고 있다. 이러한 병리를 해결하고자 등장한 새로운 패러다임으로 생태주의가 있다. 생태 주의적 가 치는 인간과 인간, 인간과 자연, 인간과 환경은 서로 영향을 주고받는 대상임으로 자연이 건강해야 인간 이 건강할 수 있으며 인간이 건강해야 자연도 건강할 수 있다는 것이다. 생태주의는 공동체적이고 순환 적인 가치관이며 생태주의와 생명주의의 가치이다. 생태그림책은 생태주의와 생명주의를 지향하기 때문 에 인간사회의 여러 병리를 치유하고 건강성을 지켜주는 하나의 도구가 될 수 있다. 생태그림책은 단순 히 친자연의 모습만을 담는 것이 아니라 인간과 인간, 인간과 자연, 생명과 생태 등 물질문명에 대항하는 근본적인 변혁 패러다임으로 생명을 살리고 생태를 지키는 효용가치를 가지고 있으며 문학치료와 같은 심리치료분야와 생태유아육분야에서 소중한 자원이 될 수 있을 것이다.
This study examines the value of ecological picture book on literature therapy and ecological early childhood education. The modern people has gone through various social pathology that is anxiety, depression, suicide, violence, crimes and so on. The rapid development of material civilization and industrialization brought about destroy ecosystems and dehumanization and mental illness. To solve these problems, new paradigm appeared. This movement is Life respect and ecologism. Ecological picture book has the value of Life respect and ecologism. Life respect and ecologism are follow after balance the relationship between human and human, human and nature, and human and environment. They used to give and take influences with each other. And so, it is not only natural ecological protection but also sense of community and solidarity and collective responsibility for all creation in the world. Life respect and ecologism are fundamental cultural reformation against materialism and dualism, and leads to healing and growth of self and nature. literature therapy and ecological early childhood education pursue healing and growth of whole personal dimension. They have the same belief. It is the belief about the potential power of self care in a person and nature, the full continuum of creation. Ecological picture book have these positive and powerful values. So ecological picture book would be important and helpful resource of psychotherapy and education, especially over children.
