During the past few decades, classroom researchers developed new methods for studying classroom
interaction patterns of teacher and students. Their goal was to discover which patterns of teacher behavior
promote desirable student performance(achievement). The fundamental fact that teachers are expected to
help students learn was emphasized.
The vast majoriety of the research on teaching has accepted the central, directive, and active role of the
teacher. Many researchers this type of teacher role refers to as the effective teacher. The researcher has
contained to support and clarify teacher behaviors and attributes associated with greater student learning.
The author reviewed the effective teacher behaviors how to effect student learning in relation to
instructional models, especially direct and indirect instruction. One of the most exciting things is that they
are not just theory, but teachers do in their classroom.
