This study examine the effect of social service personnel's discrimination experience on job
satisfaction and also, verified the mediating effect of smartphone addiction among these
variables. By targeting social service personnel who worked at Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon-do
Daegu and Gyeongbuk region, the study execute descriptive statistics and multiple regression
analysis. The results are as follows. First, according to the religious affiliation and average
of daily smartphone use social service personnel's discrimination experience showed the
difference. Also, according to the education level and average of smartphone using hour per
day social service personnel's smartphone addiction showed the difference. Second,
smartphone addiction showed mediating effect between the relationship of discrimination
experience and the job satisfaction. According to the this research report, we suggested the
policy which is about the need for institutional approach, using the smart phone and having
the pride to improve the job satisfaction for the social service worker. For further study, this
study will offer the basic data to improve the job satisfaction of social service personnel.
