Qi Zhen Zhuan(七眞傳) is not an art of creativity but is an adaptation of Qi Zhen Zu Shi Lie Xian Zhuan(七眞祖師列仙傳). This novel mainly describes about the founder of The Quan zhen(全眞敎) and his seven pupil’s accomplishment records. Transformed Taoists and The Quan zhen(全眞敎) priests were famous for their way of living in honest poverty. This study opened out the debate about narrative manner and discipline theory of Qi Zhen Zhuan(七眞傳). Firstly, as a novel of religious values, it achieved its targets and at the same time examined about the traces that worked for the sake of literary artistry. Secondly, it describes about the seeking truth and trial, hard work of poor but honest saints. Through the accomplishments like Doctrine expansion, performing miracles etc, the seven saints examined the course of becoming a legend.
