본 연구는 학습자 중심 활동에 초점을 두고 있는 플립드 러닝 기반의 수업을 실행하 여 효과성을 검증함으로써 플립드 러닝 교수법의 활용가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이 를 위해 플립드 러닝 모델에 근거하여 N대학교 사회복지학부 ‘프로그램 개발과 평가’ 전공필수과목을 수강하는 대학생 42명을 대상으로 참여 학생들의 자기주도적 학습력, 학습동기 및 자아효능감의 변화를 대응표본 t-검증과 질적연구를 통해 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 플립드 러닝 수업이 대학생의 자기 주도적 학습, 자아효능감에 긍정적인 효과를 보인다고 판단되며 학습자는 다양한 팀활동과 과제수행으로 인한 학습자간의 피드백 등 이 학습동기에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 또한 플립드 러닝 수업의 환경 에서는 교수자-학습자, 학습자상호간의 상호작용이 증가함으로써 배움에 대한 실현과 가 능성을 보여준 것으로 판단된다.
The purpose of this study was to validate the applicability and efficacy of the student focused Flipped Learning method by utilizing it in a real classroom setting. The Flipped Learning model was applied to 42 students from N University in Korea who are studying social welfare program development and evaluation as part of their curriculum. The qualitative data and t test results reflected changes in students’self-directed learning and self-efficacy. This study indicated that the Flipped Learning model not only improved students’learning quality and efficacy, but also academically motivated students and encouraged positive competition through various team activities, projects and feedback from peers. Lastly, this study also showed increased teacher and student interaction with the Flipped Learning model leading to better quality of education.
