This study explores the introduction of the after school of elementary and secondary school in Korea & the background, types and implications of the foreign after school activities. And then suggests the efficient implementation strategies for the activation of after school. For this purpose, goals, accountability & effects, leader, financial resources, and programs of after school activities in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Japan are reviewed. In addition to it, the background and types of foreign after school activities & their implications related to the activation of elementary & secondary after school in Korea are represented. Through this process, researcher propose five efficient implementation strategies to activate after school in Korea. In proposals, hereafter six research themes related to after school in Korea are represented.
