본 연구에서는 창의, 인성, 고전, 지역 연계 등을 각 교과목에서 융합시키는 미래형 융합교육과정 모델을 개발하고 적용 결과를 분석하여 교육적 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 삼았다. 2015년 제 2학기에 공주교육대학교에서 20개의 강좌가 ‘창의, 인성, 교과융합, 고전, 지역연계’의 키워드와 융합하여 운영되었다. 그 적용의 결과 및 교사 양성 교육과정 운영 면에서 얻은 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다섯 가지 키워드와 융합된 강좌들은 교과목 중심의 융합이 가능하다. 수학과 인성이 융합 된다든지, 음악과 체육이 융합되고, 고전읽기와 창의적 글쓰기가 융합되는 등의 융합이 이루어졌다. 둘째, 미래형 융합교육과정을 통해 학생들은 다섯 가지의 융합 키워드를 경험하고 현장에서 요구되는 지식 뿐 아니라 대처방식과 운영방법을 효율적으로 익히게 된다. 셋째, 본 연구에서 보인 미래형 융합교육과정을 통해 학생들이 체험한 협업, 실제적 경험, 특강 등은 기존 강좌의 수업보다 더 적극적이고 효율적인 교사교육을 제공한다.
This study aims at developing a future convergence curriculum model by incorporating the key words such as creativity, ‘character’, ‘classics’, and ‘community network’ in 20 courses and analysing the results of applying the developed curriculum model in the fall semester of 2015. The results of the application of the developed model are as follows: (1) The convergent courses based on the key words include courses that integrate two subjects such as mathematics and character, music and physical education, and reading classics and creative writing.; (2) The students learn not only necessary knowledge for teaching but coping methods and managing skills required at schools through the future convergence curriculum focusing on the key words.; (3) The students participate actively in the class and have more opportunities for cooperation, real experience, and special lectures through the future convergence curriculum. This study will provide guidelines for developing a convergence curriculum for teacher-training institutions and lead further studies in developing and implementing convergence curriculum in universalities in general.
