본고는 최근에 이루어진 민요 연구의 동향을 살펴본 것이다. 이를 위해, 2011년에서 2015년까지 발간된 소논문과 학위논문을 살펴본 후, 최근에 민요 연구가 어떤 식으로 이루 어졌는지를 고찰하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 구비문학 관점에서 민요를 연구하는 방법을 모색하였다. 최근에 이루어진 민요 연구의 현황은 다음의 몇 가지로 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 민요의 음악적 연구, 둘째, 지역 민요의 연구, 셋째, 북한 민요의 연구, 넷째, 조선 족이나 연변 지역 민요의 연구와 외국 민요 연구, 그리고 외국 민요와 우리나라 민요의 비 교 연구, 다섯째, 아리랑 연구, 여섯째, 다른 시가 갈래와 민요와의 비교 연구나 다른 시가 속 민요적 속성 고찰, 일곱째, 민요의 대중가요화나 현대화 작업에 대한 연구, 그리고 여덟 째로 민요의 사설 연구가 그것이다. 물론 위의 연구들은 어느 하나만 독자적으로 존재하기보다는 몇 가지 연구가 중복적으 로 이루어지기도 하나, 대체로 위에 제시한 것으로 정리할 수 있다. 다양한 민요 연구가 진 행된 것처럼 보이지만, 구비문학적 관점에서 민요 연구가 진행된 것을 보면 여전히 미흡하 다고 볼 수 있다. 특히 민요 연구 현장이 달라지면서 민요 연구 방법에 대한 재고가 요구되 고 있는 실정이다. 민요는 고정된 형태가 아닌 유동적이고 역동적인 모습으로 존재하는 바, 이에 대한 고려 가 필요하다. 그리고 달라진 현장 상황을 감안할 때, 토속민요뿐만 아니라 통속민요에 대한 연구가 요구된다. 민요의 대중가요화된 모습을 보여주는 신민요도 고찰할 필요가 있다. 이 를 위해서는 최근에 이루어지고 있는 민요의 음악적 연구 결과물도 적극적으로 활용해야 한다. 요컨대 달라진 환경 속에서, 이에 대한 고려를 전제한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다
This paper examined the research trend of folk songs in recent years. To this end, after looking for essays and dissertations published from 2011 to 2015, it was investigated whether the recent research done in any way a folk song. And it was looking for a way to study the folk oral literature from the point of view based on it. Recent studies made on the status of folk songs can be summarized in a few things: First, the folk musical studies. Second, studies of regional folk songs, third, the study of North Korean folk songs, ethnic Koreans, research and foreign folk songs of Yanbian folk music research and comparative studies, fifth, Arirang study of foreign folk songs and country ballads, Sixth, consider other market-pronged compared with folk songs and folk songs in market research or other nature of, seventh, research, private study and eighth ballads to pop to folk would upset modernization of them. Of course, one of the above studies are accentuated made redundant in several studies rather than exist as either one on its own, it can be summarized as a whole presented above. It looks as if the various folk studies conducted, to look at having a literary point of view can be seen that conducted the folksong research still insufficient. Especially, folk scene is a different situation,which is required for the inventory ballad research methods. Ballad then need the bars present in the fluid, dynamic look non-fixed form, considered for this. And, given the changed site conditions, as well as folk ballads requires research on folk ballads. New ballads showing the appearance of a pop ballad screen also needs to be considered. Findings of folk music being made in recent years in order to do this, we must also actively utilized. In short, in the changed environment, will be considered for this study is a premise to be conducted
