‘모든 이를 위한 교육(EFA)’이 국제사회의 지향하고 있는 목표로 강조되고 있는 시점에서 장애학생을 위한 교육기회의 마련은 국제개발협력에서 매우 중요한 주제이다. 본 연구는 국제개발협력 사업으로 진행 중인 ‘요르단 청각장애 특수학교 건립사업’의 일환으로 요르단 청각장애 특수교사의 교사 효능 감 및 직무만족도를 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상으로 요르단 수도에 거주하는 청각장애 특수 학교의 특수교사 35명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 교사효능감은 개인적 교사효능감과 일반 적 교사효능감에 관한 총 25문항으로 구성하여 측정하였다. 직무만족도는 자아실현, 상사관계, 직무 자체, 동료관계, 보상체제, 근무환경에 관한 총 24문항을 구성하여 측정하였다. 연구결과 교사효능감 은 평균 이상의 수준으로 나타났으며 하위 영역에서 개인적 효능감이 일반적 교사 효능감보다 높게 나타났다. 직무만족도 하위 영역에서 자아실현 및 직무자체 만족도는 높은 반면 근무환경 및 보상체 제에 대해서는 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 직무만족도의 근무환경, 상사관계, 동료관계, 보상체 제, 직무자체 영역은 전체 만족도와 높은 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 요르단 의 특수교육 분야 국제개발력 사업에서의 특수교육 교원 양성 및 지원 정책과 관련한 시사점을 제 시하였다.
In the field of international development cooperation education has received attention as a development tool for achieving economic development, as well as one that reflects the values of human dignity itself. But even now the common goal of the international community called ‘universal basic education’ all over the world still one year ahead, children with disabilities are being excluded from access to basic education. The purpose of this study is to examine the differences in teacher efficacy and job satisfaction of Jordanians deaf education teachers as part of the establishment of special school for students with hearing impairment in Jordan. A survey was conducted on total 35 Jordanian special education teachers. In the survey questionnaires, 25 items were included to investigate teacher efficacy and the section of job satisfaction consisted 24 items. The result of this study showed that teacher efficacy and job satisfaction was average level. Implication for future research and program in the field of international development cooperation education on special education was addressed.
