국문초록

이 연구는 학습컨설팅 지원 대학생 튜터링 프로그램의 효과를 분석한 유사실험 연구이다. 연구대상은 강원도 소재 K대학 재학생 126명이었으며, 실험 효과 검증을 위해 사전-사후 통제집단 설계를 적용하여 학습의 선행조건변인인 학습동기, 과정변인인 학습몰입, 결과변인인 학업성취도(GPA) 변화를분석하였다. 실험 효과 검증을 위해 반복측정 다변량분석(Repeated MANOVA), 반복측정 다변인공변량분석(Repeated MANCOVA), 반복측정 공변량분석(Repeated ANCOVA)을 실시하여 실험집단과 통제집단 간 학습동기, 학습몰입, 학업성취에서의 변화를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 학습동기에서는 실험효과가 발견되지 않은 반면, 학습몰입에서는 부분적인 실험 효과가 있었고 학업성취에서도 프로그램 효과가 검증되었다. 즉, 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 학습몰입과 학업성취가 더 향상되었다. 이러한 긍정적인 실험효과는 실험집단 내에서 학습컨설팅 지원 튜터링 프로그램에 참여한 역할 유형 집단(튜터와튜티) 모두에 걸쳐 일관되었다. 이 연구 결과에 근거하여 학습컨설팅이 결합된 튜터링 프로그램이 대학생의 학습동기, 학습몰입, 학업성취 향상에 주는 시사점을 논의하였으며, 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문초록

A quasi-experimental study was designed to analyze the effects of the tutoring program with consulting for college students’ learning. The pretest-posttest control group design, which is composed of 54 participants in experimental group Ⅰ, 36 participants in experimental group Ⅱ, and 36 participants in control group, was used. The experimental treatment effects were tested by comparing the difference between the experimental and control groups’ pre- and posttest scores on learning motivation, learning flow, and GPA with repeated MANOVA, MANCOVA, and ANCOVA. The interaction effects between groups and pre-post tests were found. The differences in learning flow and GPA between experimental and control group differ depending on pre-posttest time. That is, the experimental group showed the higher levels of learning flow and GPA in the post-test than pre-test, while control group’s levels in learning flow and GPA were maintained over time. In addition, these positive experimental effects were found consistently for both tutee and tutor groups who participated in the treatment of experiment. These findings suggest that the tutoring program with consulting is beneficial for college students’ learning regardless of types of their participation roles; either tutor or tutee. Implications, suggestions and limitations in the study were presented.
