목적: 본 연구는 지체장애인의 자가운전에 대한 일반인들의 인식도를 파악하고자 부산지역 일반인을 대상 으로 자가운전의 필요도와 요구도를 조사함으로써 차후 운전재활 활성화 방안 마련을 위한 기초자 료 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 2014년 5월 10일부터 5월 23일 까지 부산지역의 일반인 150명을 대상으로 지체장애인의 자가운전 에 대한 인식도를 조사하기 위해 방문설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과: 대부분 지체장애인의 경우 안전운전이 어렵다는 인식을 가지고 있었다. 하지만 장애인의 자가운전 의 필요성 및 욕구에 대해서는 이동권을 확보하기 위해 필요하다고 하였고, 이를 위해 교육이나 훈 련시설 및 인력 확충이 요구된다고 하였다. 결론: 일반인들의 장애인들의 자가운전에 대한 인식개선이 필요하고, 지체장애인들을 대상으로 전문적이고 체계적인 운전재활 시스템 활성화가 필요하다. 또한 이를 뒷받침하기 위한 관련 법 및 제도개선이 필요할 것이다.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to present the basis for the necessary help enable future driving rehabilitation plan prepared by examining the public awareness of busan on self-driving by the people with physical disability.
