본 연구는 대학생들을 대상으로 대인관계능력과 문제해결능력 수준을 파악하고 대학생들을 대상으로 프 로그램의 기초자료로 활용되는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구목적을 바탕으로 수립한 구체적인 연구문 제는 첫째, 대학생들의 대인관계와 문제해결능력 실태는 어떠한가? 둘째, 대학생들의 대인관계능력에 따라 문제해결능력은 어떠한 영향을 미치는가?를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구가설을 수립하고 기술통계, 상관관계, 회귀분석 모형을 사용하여 분석하였다. 이러한 연구문제를 검증하고자 대학생들을 대상으로 2016 년 5월 17일부터 5월 31일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 활용하여 분석하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째. 문제해결능력을 분석한 결과 문제해결능력 중 문제해결 결과를 문제 해결 결과를 분석하여 대안으로서의 가치 즉 문제해결 수준을 파악하는 능력과 문제인식과 문제해결 하는 데 다른 관점으로 생각할 수 있는 능력이 ‘보통’으로 나타났으며, 주어진 일에 관련하여 문제를 인식하고 논리적으로 생각하고 결정하는 능력, 일의 목적과 제한점을 알고 이해하는 능력, 선택된 대안을 현실적으로 적용하여 문제를 해결하는 능력, 일을 수행에 문제점을 해결하기 위해 장, 단점을 비교 분석, 새로운 아이 디어를 만들어내는 능력에서는 ‘그렇다’가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 대인관계에서는 공동으로 수행해야 할 과제를 선정, 과제의 중요성과 필요성을 다른 사람에게 이해시키고 이끌어 나가는 능력, 일을 수행함에 있어 협상을 위한 자신의 입장을 파악, 필요한 전략 구사능력, 타인이 무엇을 요구하는지 파악할 수 있고 만족시키려는 자세로 일을 수행하는 능력, 일을 수행함에 있어 사람들 사이의 갈등이 발생할 경우, 이를 원 만히 조절해 나가는 능력, 서로 다른 성격과 다양한 배경을 가진 사람들과도 잘 어울리며 일을 수행하는 능력에서는 ‘그렇다’가 가장 많이 나타나 대학생들의 대인관계능력을 높게 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 대인관계와 문제해결능력에 대해 상관관계분석을 실시한 결과 대인관계능력에 정적인 유의한 상관관 계를 보였다. 즉 대인관계능력이 높을수록 문제해결력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다.
