The prime study for children is that children should be taken active roles in their study instead of
being delivered facts by adults. This suggestion strongly showed the role of children museum which is
the representative education institutions outside the system. The current children museums are aiming to
present exhibition by hands-on method and expecting various experience activities in the exhibition.
However, those were sometimes ended with simply participation or operation that did not relate with the
goal. This study suggested that behavior character of children should apply on experience system and
exhibition design from beginning to lead education improvement such as activity for experience and
message learning through foreseeable action. The analysis and examination for the study is needed to
connect between behavior character of children and activity for experience in museums. Based on those
background, the study observed the playing which is the most important and daily activity in children's
behavior character and considered examples that how it applied on the exhibitions in children museums.
As the children education showed that children and the playing are an inseparable relation, the study
result appeared that the viewing activity in the children museum should be designed as a playing activity.
This study was handled limited examples but it was found the possibility of various playing to apply on
the children exhibition and it acquired significance for the suggesting major point of view to develop
children exhibitions. The exhibition with concept of playing showed enrichment of viewing activity and
it would lead to improve exhibition interest and education effects.
