The purpose of this study is to understand of Physical Education class through intuitive thinking of newly appointed elementary school female teachers. The participants of this study were newly appointed 6 female teachers, who were working at elementary school in Gyeonggi. This study was conducted from March to July 2015 with in-depth interview, open-ended questionnaire, and document analysis. Individual case records and profiles were analyzed by Spradley's(1980) suggestion. Triangulation, peer debriefing, expert consultations, and participant checks were used for the trustworthiness of the data. The results of this study were as follows. The teaching behaviors of newly appointed female teachers were categorized as anxiety, challenge, enthusiasm, and reflection. In the phase of anxiety, newly appointed female teachers experienced the embarrassment or discomfort that comes of their own first experience for Physical Education class. In the phase of challenge, they expressed their own willingness to 'let's give it a try'. But they experienced frustration again. In the phase enthusiasm, they showed strong passion for Physical Education class using learning preparation, exercise practice, and movement demonstration. And in the phase reflection, newly appointed female teachers felt keenly more and more the necessity of self-study, textbook research for Physical Education class.
