본 연구는 표준화환자 활용 시뮬레이션교육과 고충실도환자모형 시뮬레이터를 활용한 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 문제해결능력과 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과를 비교하는 비동등성 대조군 전후 설계의 유사실험연구이다. 대상자는 Y대학 2학년 간호대학생 82명으로 실험군(n=43)은 표준화 환자 활용 시뮬레이션교육에, 대조군(n=39)은 고충실도환자모형 시뮬레이터를 활용한 시뮬레이션교육에 참 여하였으며 2012년 6월 18일부터 7월 6일사이에 실험처치와 사전사후 자료수집을 하였다. 연구결과, 교육 후 간호대학생의 문제해결능력은 실험군이 대조군 보다 유의하게 높았고(t=2.58, p=0.13), 임상수 행능력도 실험군이 대조군 보다 높았으나 유의하지는 않았다. 따라서 표준화 환자를 활용한 시뮬레이 션 교육이 고충실도 환자모형 시뮬레이터를 활용한 시뮬레이션 교육에 비해 간호대학생의 문제해결 능력의 향상에 더 효과적이고 임상수행능력의 향상에는 동등한 효과가 나타나는 것으로 입증되었다.
This study is investigated to compare effects between simulation educations using standard patients(SPs) and high-fidelity human patient simulators(HPS) on problem solving and clinical competence ability of nursing students. In this non-equivalent control group pre-post test quasi-experimental research, 82 second grade nursing students at Y college participated from June to July in 2012. Scenarios and checklists were developed by this researcher. The experimental group(n=43) participated in simulation education using SPs and the control group(n=39) did in simulation education using HPS. The mean score of problem solving Nursing Students’ Problem Solving, and Clinical Competence between Standard Patient and High Fidelity Simulator Simulation was significantly higher in the experimental group than the control group(t=2.58, p=0.13) but clinical competence was not significantly higher. According to this results, simulation education using SPs is more effective for problem solving and equally effective for clinical competence ability of nursing students compared with simulation education using HPS.
