This purpose of this study focused to cooperating teachers' instructing experience and
recognition of internship program in order to basic data for the collaborative operation of
student teaching practice between universities and kindergartens. Subjects in this study were
89 cooperating teachers, who had worked in D university's sister institution, responded to
the questionnaire survey. To measure instructing experience and recognition of internship
program, data were collected from cooperating teachers using four parts of questionnaire:
Instructing experience of pre․post internship program, difficulties in managing pre․post
internship program, experimentation of pre․post internship program, general background of
cooperating teachers. Data were analyzed of with respect to frequencies, percentages, and χ2
with SPSS 24.0.
The results as follows : First, in pre-internship, cooperating teachers emphasized on
development and understanding of early childhood children, and, in post-internship, they
emphasized on perspective of early childhood teacher. Second in pre-internship, stress on
observation of children characteristics and in post-internship, stress on observation of role of
teachers. Third cooperating teachers had difficulty in distractibility of children because of
student teachers and open class. Fourth, cooperating teachers required development of
definite pre-post internship program
