영문초록

The study was explored family needs for Social Support Needs(SSN)) by children’s ter characteristics and the reJationships between needs of social supports and matemal stress for families of children with EBD. by three scales as assessment tools. A hundred mothers who had elementary school kids with Emotional and Behavior Disorder(EBD) were recruited for the study. Thirty mothers arnong a hundred mothers had the one to one home visit interview were met the participant’s criterions of the study. The assessment tools (i .e., Family survey, Matemal Stress and Social Support Needs(SSN)) used in the study were developed to collect resources for the family background. matemal stress, demographic information of children, the assistant level and mothers’ needs for each type of social support. As a result, according to the characteristics, the level of educational support for girls was higher than boys. The level of informational support and emotional support for the third bom child was higher than the first or the second bom child's in the falmily. As the chiJdren become higher graders. their needs of emotional support and educational support was increased. Furthermore, as children's disabilities was more severe, their needs of financial support was stronger. In addition, the orders of needs for the SSN were informational, emotional, education and financial supports. The results of the relationships between matemal stress and service needs of social supports were provided in the study
