This project had been planed for provide a basic data about the medical treatment of cochlea implant through the research and analysis of hearing impairrnent person who had got taken the cochlea implant. This survey had been surveyed of satisfaction degree of 57 of hearing impairrnent child who have got taken an cochlea implant and lived in the area of Seoul, Kyung-gi, Kwang- ju province by means of question paper distribute method. The result indicates that the satisfaction degree about the medical treatments of cochlea implant was 2.85 in the means of average value. This is normal level of satisfaction degree. Look at the more detail analysis, the group who had taken operation before 7 years old, indicate more satisfaction degree to the group of 따ter 7 years old treatment. And in the viewpoint of wearing period, the group of wearing more than 2 years indicates much satisfaction degree than the group of wearing less than 2 years. After the cochlea implant treatment, the satisfaction degree of period of speech rehabilitation, the group who has got more than 1 year speech rehabilitation is displayed higher satisfaction rank to compare with the group of less than 1 year. The main factor which influence the determining of taken treatment of cochlea implant was persuasion of parent which indicate 60%, and then followed 파ce this, doctor(23%), 비mself(7% ), teacher(4%), and speech therapist(2%), etc. The survey result which of the point of reflection rate of his own opmlOn adapted rate about the determining of medical treatment shown like this. 50 persons among the 57 persons (88%) said that the reflection rate is less than common. According to this research data, it must be progressively reflected the opmlOn of hearing impairrnent person when it treated of cochlea implant, more over the treatment had been done in early age and there must be constructed the supporting system of nation and rehabilitation facilities for continuous remedy.
