The current study was undertaken to evaluate an adolescent smoJGng prevention
education program, specifically to assess if the program diminished the intent to
smoke and the attractiveness of smoking, and increased self-efficacy.
This study used one group pre- and post -program test to verify the effect of the
SmoJGng Cessation Vision Program on smoking intention, smoJGng attitude, and
self-efficacy in Korean Adolescents.
Smoking intention (t=2.97, p=.006) and smoJGng attitude (t= 1.36, p=.003) decreased
after completion of the program. Self-efficacy (t=-2.65, p=.0l2) increased after
completion of the program
In conclusion, based on the result of the study, the program decreases the smoking
intention and smoking attitude positively to increase the self efficacy on non-smoking
habit. Therefore, education for smoking cessation implements the vls10n and dream
