본 연구는 문탁 네트워크라는 실천공동체 사례를 통하여 구성원 간의 관계맺음 속에서 나 타나는 학습 경험들과 실천 형성과정을 탐구하기 위해 수행된 질적 사례연구이다. 이를 위 해 문탁 공동체 내 각종 경험을 통하여 개인적 삶이 변화되고, 공동체 내ㆍ외로 행동하며 실천하는 삶을 살고 있는 열명의 연구참여자들을 선정하여 개인 또는 집단 심층면담을 8개 월 간 진행하고 토의 내용을 Lave와 Wenger의 상황학습이론(situated learning theory)과 Heo 의 개인적-상호관계적-공동체적 세 차원(individual-interpersonal-community planes)으로 분석 하였다. 그 결과 ‘문탁’으로의 들어섬과 동참의 모습들은 한 식구가 되어 가는 과정 속에서 ‘나’라는 자신과 마주하게 되고 이를 통해 일상의 문턱 넘어 삶의 좌표를 새롭게 보게 되는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 ‘너’와의 관계맺음 속에서 나타나는 상호관계적 모습들은 문탁의 공동부엌과 식당에서 같이 식사를 하면서, 치열하게 읽고, 논쟁하고, 글쓰는 과정 속에서, 때 로는 갈등적 상황 속에서도 공통의 감각을 키우며 함께 학습하고 서로에게 호혜성을 내보이 며 문탁 공동체 정체성을 습득하고 확립하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 나와 너를 넘어 ‘우리’라는 공동체적 가치를 형성하는 모습들은 먼저 한번 실천하고 배움을 나누는 과정을 통하여 문탁 너머 더 큰 세상과 연대하고 있었으며, 이를 통해 수동적 삶의 모습인 ‘살아가 짐’이 아닌 능동적이고 주체적인 ‘살아가기’로 바뀌는 모습들을 보여주었다.
This case study was purposed to analyze the process of growth and change of members in ‘MoonTak Network, MTN’ communities practice. The researcher reviewed the theoretical background as the situated learning experience and practice of the members in the ‘individual-interpersonal-community’ planes. Actually, I participated as a member in ‘MTN’ till March 2016. This participatory research was carried out for 8 months. The researcher analyzed the descriptions from in-depth interviews of 8 participants individually or in groups. The research results were as followings: first, they became the members of the ‘MTN’ through reflecting of oneself, and getting over own routine life, and seeing new one's life again. Second, they made their correlations by having meals together, reading and debating and writing aggressively. Sometimes, they solved their conflict and had learning each other. They got along with each other in reciprocity acquiring the identity and established strong ‘MTN’. Third, they made their collective value through sharing their own idea and learning by doing. Beyond the Moontak network, they constructed social solidarity with the disadvantaged and minorities. With those activities, they led their lives actively rather than passively. Based upon the above results, the researcher would like to suggest the followings: first, the community ‘MTN’ reproduced through ‘choosing and sharing’ within the community rather than ‘open to anyone’. Second, for the praxis, Freire argued as critical reflection and action. the researcher found that between the Freirean praxis, there were ‘redefine of critical conscious and deliberation’ from the experience of writing and reciprocity of ‘MTN’.
