In this paper, we study on research trend in the field of LMT by analyzing 61 dissertations and 34 KCI indexed journal papers, published from 1994 to 2017. The analysis in this paper was carried out by classifying reference papers into year, research targets, research topic, diagnosis method. And we also analyzed percentage and frequencies by using technical statistics. The results of our analysis are the followings. First, the number of published paper related to LMT increase from 2007. Second, in the research target by age, the number of case for adult is the most. And then, the number of research case for kids and teenage are the next in the order named. In the case of a psychosomatic disease, schizophrenia is in most. Third, pre- and post-analysis of program is used as the research method in the field of LMT in most. Psychological health as research subject is studied the most. And next, self growth, communications, enhancement of interpersonal relation are following. Fourth, group program is used for assessment in many case. From the result of our research, we suggest more systematic and effective direction of research for LMT. And we look forward to expand research targets, subjects, and methods in the field of LMT in future.
