The technology banking policy to support SME innovation activities is the Technology Credit Guarantee Loan System, which has been implemented since July 2014 with the participation of the Technology Guarantee Fund, private credit rating agencies and commercial banks under the leadership of the Financial Services Commission. This is a technical financial support system in which technically qualified SMEs receive the funds from private commercial banks through the process of technical credit evaluation (TCB evaluation). In order for such a series of processes to operate successfully for the purpose of the policy authorities, it is necessary to secure the validity and credibility of the technology credit evaluation model itself. In this paper, we analyze the technical credit evaluation results accumulated in TDB from January 2015 until September 2016, when relevant data are refined and accumulated, and validated the construct validity of the technology credit evaluation model currently in operation. As a result, the Intensive validity was maintained relatively well overall, but the Discriminant Validity was somewhat lacking. It is necessary to improve the model considering these results in the future.
