The purpose of this study is to explore the actual situations and problems of the local community in which students live and to experience community art that solves the problems faced in the arts. To fulfill a more active learning in such experience, this study intends to apply the Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Through the direct observation of the problem that students are experiencing in the area where they actually live, they have sought to solve the problem with active communication with the residents. In order to investigate the effectiveness of the class, 15 students in the second grade of junior high school were analyzed through the questionnaire before and after the class and the students' solution process. 60% of the class shows the concern of the community and 66.5% shows the possibility of increasing the 'communication of open thinking' by learners who have experienced 'community art' with more positive and active activities than before. 'Google Maps' was also used to communicate the problems and solutions of learners all over the world. Through this, it has been confirmed that art lessons can intervene and solve problems in our region, and even society, rather than expressive means for the results.
